Bibi Simons is an energetic Dutch soprano renowned for being a well rounded performer. Most recently, Bibi Simons performed the role of Despina in the Berlin Opera Academy’s production of Così fan tutte last summer. In the Spring of 2023 she performed the role of Zora (Svadba) by Ana Sokoloviç under the musical direction of Djordje Nesic at the Manhattan School of Music. Bibi has thrived in many more roles, such as Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro) and Fortuna (L’incoronazione di Poppea). 

A frequent collaborator of new music, Bibi has premiered many works by young composers such as Tamara McLeod, Lin Qiao, Marcelo Ramirez and Meiling Wu. 

Bibi Simons will receive her Master of Music at the Manhattan School of Music in the Spring of 2024 and did receive her Bachelor of Music in The Netherlands. She is in the voice studio of Joan Patenaude-Yarnell at MSM. Between her Bachelor and Master, Bibi specialized in French repertoire while studying at the Conservatoire de Versailles.
